Poolside

From 23 November:

A seat behind me were a guy and a girl pouring their hearts out to each other. The guy was doing most of the talking: he confessed his first time to swim (ever) was at sixth grade, when a friend asked him out to swim. He was wearing maong because it was all done on a whim - but as soon as he saw the pool he jumped. The entire time the guy was sharing stories about his less-than-average childhood: the meager allowances, the once in a blue moon trips to Jolibee. Both his brother and sister were still at school back then, so they had to make do with whatever they have. He contracted UTI because he drank Plus juice and junk food every day. His mom didn't know any better.

From the girl's reactions she sort of pities him, or at least feels for him.
